Within Europe, easyJet and Ryanair dominate Berlin point-to-point with no business cabin; the full-service alternative via a hub is the premium option on most city pairs.

Berlin Brandenburg (BER) finally consolidated the city’s traffic in one place; Tegel and Schönefeld are history. The airport train reaches the centre in about half an hour.
Lounges at BER are modest — on a connecting itinerary, the better premium ground time is at the hub, not in Berlin.

The IFA fair, film festival and marathon weekends firm up fares; otherwise Berlin premium pricing is steady and mild by capital-city standards.
