Athens Business Class Flights
Updated 2026-08-31 · Athens, Greece

Athens is a short-haul business market with long-haul ambitions: most premium journeys there are two-to-four-hour hops where the cabin buys ground perks, but the summer island rush gives even those hops airline-seat economics worth gaming.
Aegean has quietly built one of Europe’s better-regarded regional business products.
Airlines and cabins to Athens
Aegean Airlines flies European business with genuinely good catering and lounges for a carrier its size, and its network is the funnel to the islands. Direct long-haul business into Athens has grown — Gulf carriers year-round, US routes seasonally — and Turkish via Istanbul is, as across this region, the constant price reference.
On the island legs themselves the aircraft are small and business is often front-row seating with priority handling — the flat bed exists only on the long-haul leg in.
Athens's airports
Athens International (ATH) is the single airport, forty minutes from the centre by metro. It is comfortable but compact; summer Saturday mornings are its one genuinely chaotic window.
For island connections, one through-ticket protects you; Athens is a poor place for self-transfer gambles in August.
When to book, and for how much
May–June and September beat July–August on every metric: fares, heat and crowds.
Through business fares to the islands (Santorini, Mykonos) via Athens often price barely above Athens itself — check before booking the hop separately.
How to book it cheaper on Voyara
- Open “Travellers & cabin” in the search form and switch the cabin to Business before you search.
- Use the price calendar: the coloured days show at a glance which departure dates run cheap, before a single search is spent.
- Open a result to see every agency and airline selling that exact itinerary — the chips say whether the fare is refundable, changeable, and what baggage it carries.
- Compare the one-stop routings the guide mentions against the non-stop: on business fares the detour is where the discount hides.
